The Haunted Sawmill is back and it’s better than ever! A fundraiser for Boy Scout Troop 599 of Merrill, WI the 2nd annual Haunted Sawmill has become a community event that shouldn’t be missed this Halloween season. Opening on Friday, October 12 the sawmill will run every weekend until Halloween on Wednesday the 31st of October. Better than any haunted house, his year’s Haunted Sawmill offers new thrills and chills, but also has special family friendly shows for the younger crowd.
New features this year with the Haunted Sawmill include special family themed events on Sundays. On Sunday October 14, 21 and 28 there will be special games and events for children, including pumpkin painting, prizes, and face-painting. Children can win prizes and the event will be geared towards families with younger children who want to have a fun Halloween event. The Haunted Sawmill will also be open and feature a much less scary version of the evening shows, also toned down for families with young children.
This year’s Haunted Sawmill will also feature opportunities to take photographs with Vincent (Skullface), the main ghoul who haunts the old factory.
But for a thrill, starting at 6:00pm and running throughout the evening, the Haunted Sawmill will have scary, good thrills for older and more mature audiences. Connect with the Haunted Sawmill on Facebook to or at The Haunted Sawmill website to keep up with all the scary fun.
