Getting up early this morning and I’m surprised to see four inches of snow on the ground. Well, I really shouldn’t be surprised, the weather people have been predicting Snowpocylpse for the last five days. The Big Bundle Up

Help the Wisconsin Department of Tourism collect hats, scarves, and mittens in their Big Bundle Up program. Participating tourism partners which includes the Woodson Art Museum have collection boxes for winter outer wear which will then be distributed to needy families statewide. The campaign runs until January 3rd, so bring a hat or mittens when to the museum when you go to check out their Shaker furniture exhibit.

Gift Certificates

Last minute Christmas shopping got you down? If you are in a rush, please consider purchasing a gift certificate from one of our great local businesses. Do you have someone that is really tough to shop for? The Wausau Chamber offers certificates that are good at over 150 Chamber members (including proud Chamber member RelyLocal Wausau). Closing Thoughts

With Christmas Eve on a Monday and Christmas Day is on a Tuesday this year, many people are taking are turning the holiday into a very long weekend.
