This year, the Central Wisconsin Social Media Conference moves down to the UWSP campus in Stevens Point. Presented by the UWSP Continuing Education Department, the new venue opens the conference up to new participants and ideas. But the short drive down to Point will be worth it as this year’s conference has items for both novice and experienced social media users.
Social media is here to stay. Businesses constantly communicate with customers and other businesses using social media. At this conference, active social media practitioners will conduct peer-to-peer breakout sessions to provide insight on how to energize your social media efforts to PROMOTE, GROW, and EXPAND your business.
Keynote speakers at the conference include morning Keynote Presenter: Wayne Breitbarth, CEO of Power Formula LLC – LinkedIn: The Next Steps and luncheon Keynote Presenters: Jim Raffel and Shelby Sapusek, SheHeMedia – Debating Social Media Engagement Strategies to Grow Business. Along with the keynotes their are breakout sessions designed for all levels of social media knowledge.
For one of the scheduled breakout sessions, I’ll be delivering a presentation on Social Media: Where to Start. This session will explore why social media is important to your business and what platforms and tools are available. This entertaining and informative breakout will also have plenty of time for questions.
Along with my presentation, you’ll find breakouts ranging on topics of social media strategy, online video, search engines, building community, and customer service.
