Closing Thoughts

The local economy is big subject on our Facebook page, and this includes financial literacy. Still there are those that work hard but just can’t get ahead. If you or someone you know needs help, the Marathon County Family Resource Center is holding a “Financial SOS – Making Ends Meet” program this Thursday, February 7th from 6-7:30 pm at the Wausau Family Resource Center, 705 S. 24th Ave in Wausau. This hands-on workshop will teach you about credit cards, work benefits and how to save money. Participants will also do a budget that will work for their family. For more information or to register, call (715) 845-6747. Free childcare is available.

Until next week, stay local my friends.
