While Labor Day weekend marks the end of summer and the start of school for many of our youth, we can easily forget the role of labor and unions in creating a better and safer working environment. Wausau’s Labor Day parade, sponsored by the Marathon County Labor Council, is this Monday September 2nd, 2013 starting at 4:00pm along 3rd Ave starting at West Wausau Ave and ending at the Labor Temple near Stewart Ave.

Time: line-up starts @ 3:00p.m. And parade starts at 4:00 p.m.

Food Drive: We will be collecting non -perishable food items and cash donations which will be donated to the Neighbors Place. Look for IBEW local 388 station wagon and IBEW local 388 workers pushing shopping carts or drop off items at the Labor Temple, 318 south 3rd ave.
