Aahhh, Halloween; that special days when kids get to pretend and adults act like kids. Looks like this year’s Halloween is going to be wet and foggy, so if you will be out Trick or Treating, make sure your kids are wearing reflective clothing, stay on the sidewalks, and watch for traffic when crossing the street. And while you’re out, don’t let the spooks get you.

You’ve probably heard that Amazon is building a distribution center in Kenosha. How will this affect Wisconsin shoppers? Well, the good news is that your orders will come faster, but now that Amazon has a presence in the state, you will also have to pay sales tax. I think better news is that this, along with increasing their minimum charge for free shipping to $35, puts the online store on a more equal footing with local merchants.
Have a great start to the weekend, and keep it local, my friends.
