What is this man doing in the cold?
Thanks to the polar vortex, we’ve landed into a sub-zero deep freeze. I know we’ve had cold snaps before, but never with such a sexy name as polar vortex. This week has been hard on many people; especially our homeless population and those that routinely work outdoors. One such hard working person is Joe ofJoe Rader Towing. Earlier this week the Wausau Daily Herald followed him around as he jump started and unstuck frozen vehicles in -20 degree weather.

Do you want and advertising method that can make a guaranteed impression? Radio, tv, and print are great, but you are at the mercy of the viewers and consumers of those media outlets. Ok, what happens when you throw a cup of boiling water into the air when it’s -20 degrees below zero out? Well, if all goes well, it will instantly turn to ice and snow. This week the guys at Becker Communications decided to turn their cameras towards that activity and gave a little demonstration in their parking lot. (kids don’t try this at home, you can still get burned).
Warmer weather is ahead. Have a great weekend and keep it local my friends.
