Wow, last month’s Local Business Roundtable could have been a record for us. Held on the same day as the Wausau Region Chamber’s Business Expo, we still had 35 participants. If it wasn’t for the expo pulling away a few regulars, we would have easily topped 40. The Wausau area’s best value in networking is attracting more and more new faces each month. Find out what makes this group so attractive, join us for this month’s “Keep Local Business Local” networking breakfast and roundtable discussion on Thursday, May 22nd.
The discussion topic is:
What does Wausau Want? Finding the keys to opening doors: Our community’s ethnic heritage and conservative leanings has made us slow to embrace new trends and new people. How do you present a forward looking product or service to a community know for its slow adoption? Be prepared to bring your favorite tips and be ready to share.
Bring business cards, flyers, coupons, and other promotional materials to share. We typically have 35-40 people attend each month. We’ll have a table set aside for handout materials. Also be prepared to give a short (45 second) introduction, or elevator pitch, of your business. Breakfast (continental) is on us.
