The summertime slump isn’t slowing down the Local Business Roundtable, our attendance is hotter than ever! Last month close to 40 people engaged in what has become one of the Wausau area’s most popular networking opportunities. Find out what makes this group so attractive, join us for this month’s “Keep Local Business Local” networking breakfast and roundtable discussion on Thursday, July 24th.
The discussion topic is:
The Circles of Marketing
A common perception is that marketing = advertising. But true marketing consists of several concentric circles of influence, with the outermost being the most common forms of advertising. But the inner circles: community, story, support, and usability are often overlooked. This month we’ll discuss ‘circling in’ to give your marketing efforts extra leverage as your customers move to the innermost circle: your products and services. (Adapted from a blog post by Seth Godin).
Bring business cards, flyers, coupons, and other promotional materials to share. We typically have 35-40 people attend each month. We’ll have a table set aside for handout materials. Also be prepared to give a short (45 second) introduction, or elevator pitch, of your business. Breakfast (continental) is on us.
The event is Free. Please RSVP, space is limited, to Steve Steffke (715)355-9920 or firstname.lastname@example.org
The Local Business Roundtable is sponsored by Steve Steffke of Legalshield, John McAuley Consulting, and Michael Martens of RelyLocal Wausau. Three small businesses working together to help other small businesses succeed.
