Swinging away at the Fair!
Fair Season is here! The Both the Wisconsin Valley Fair in Wausau and Lincoln County in Merrill started this week. I just spent two days judging the 4-H photography exhibits at the fair. Every year I’m always impressed by the talent of these kids. As a kid, I got my start in photography through all the opportunities that 4-H provided- locally, state, and nationally. Now, as new a generation of aspiring photographers come through the ranks, I get the chance to guide and mentor them. Even if it’s only a two minute conversation while I provide a critique of their work.
