“The only thing that is constant is change”, as Greek philosopher Heraclitus told us thousands of years ago. This still holds true today, as we live in a world of rapid change, especially within our jobs where organizations continually measure, analyze and update policies, procedures and practices. Are you able to easily adapt and quickly adopt change? Are you able to think outside the box and recognize opportunities for improvement through changes? Are you ready to lead change within your organization?
United Way Emerging Leaders invites you to attend the annual Ignite the Leader Within event on Tuesday September 30 to learn tips and techniques to increase your personal brain power, while demonstrating how to encourage new thinking in times of rapid change. The event features nationally renowned speaker Tim Richardson, author of “Transformation Thinking” and creator of the IM RICH series.
Tim’s presentation is based on research for his popular book “Transformation Thinking”. In an environment of unprecedented change, Tim believes how you respond will determine either the demise or destiny of your organization. It’s simple – change or die. Attendees will learn how to produce positive thinking, generate ideas and workplace innovation and use change strategies to move themselves and their organization forward. Not only will Tim discuss how to think innovatively and creatively, but also how to generate better results in your organization through collaborative thinking, innovation and a work environment that fosters on-going creativity and better thinking.
This highly participatory and engaging event will be held at the Jefferson Street Inn on Tuesday, September 30th. The presentation and interactive learning session begins at 4pm, followed by a cocktail hour and networking social with hor d’oeuvres provided and a cash bar. Registration is open to everyone with a $15 admission fee.
