Wausau-city-scape-promotional-no-lines-wausau-interactive-FBAutumn is a great time of year. You get the mix of cool evenings, brisk mornings, and warm sunny days. The weather makes dressing a little difficult, but the variability is welcoming. Plus autumn is the season of change- not only is a the weather changing, but the leaves also turn into a rich array of glorious color. Autumn is, by far, my favorite season.

Along with the change of season comes another big change, and that’s with Relylocal. I am transitioning out of the RelyLocal brand and will continue my business and work under the new name: Wausau Interactive. RelyLocal has been a part of the Wausau community for four years, and many businesses have benefitted from its buy local campaign. But as we move forward, I see more growth and opportunity in helping local business under this new name and brand.

Wausau Interactive is a digital marketing company that helps small business break through the noise by producing relevant content that builds their reputation, increases online visibility, and promotes and their business. In reality, it’s the same thing that we’ve always done, but as a wholly local brand, there is more latitude in how we can help.

You may be asking “What’s going to happen to RelyLocal?” The name and brand will live on in the online world- the local business directory will be around for a time, and you may see the name actively promoted in other communities. But locally our marketing efforts will now focus around the Wausau Interactive brand. Properties like our Buy Local Wausau Blog, this email newsletter, and our Local Deals postcard won’t disappear, they’ll just be christened with the new logo. There will be a new Facebook page, that will continue to be full of local events, activities, business information. All in all- to the general public, the change will be minimal.

What’s important is that I’m extremely grateful to be a part of the local community and will continue to promote and support our locally owned and operated businesses.

So this may be the last issue of the RelyLocal Wausau newsletter, but it’s not the end, but instead a new beginning. I thank you for your support, and please continue to enjoy this newsletter. I promise that next week we’ll be back to our regularly scheduled content.
