Marathon-County-Public-Library-exterior-winterCan you write a love story in just six words? Community members throughout Marathon County and beyond are encouraged to submit a six-word love story before Valentine’s Day. We will accept submissions through Feb. 9, and the top five stories will be shared with the public via social media and in-house displays on Valentine’s Day. The winning entrants will have their choice of several MCPL prizes.

Participants are encouraged to use their creativity, but obscene entries will not be considered. Each individual can submit up to three entries for consideration. Entries can be submitted on paper at any Marathon County Public Library location or online by emailing and referencing “Six-Word Love Story” in the subject heading.

The event is free and open to the public. For more information, call 715-261-7230.
