Frasier’s Plumbing, Heating, and Cooling

Here’s a story that could have had a very tragic ending: “Last week, we received a call on our after-hours phone line from a man in Three Lakes, WI.  He and his wife had been waiting for three days for their regular heating service company to come back and finish fixing their boiler.  The boiler was making odd noises and the house was getting colder every day despite it constantly running.  It was below 0°F outside, and they were both experiencing horrible headaches.  They kept calling their service company, but received no response. . .” Read more on the Frasier’s Plumbing, Heating, and Cooling blog.

Northern Air Merchant Services

When you see “Zero Floor Limit Fee” on your card processing fee statement, you know exactly what that means, right? Yeah, that’s what I thought! Well, Rick Montgomery of Northern Air Merchant Services is here to help: “The last few weeks we have been talking about what all those acronyms and weird fee categories are on your card processing statement. Last week we discussed the basics of types of transaction fees and how they are charged. Then there is everything else, and I started making a list and adding and adding. Eventually I came to the realization there are way to many to publish here so I would like to just post a link to the page where they are all listed. Please feel free to print it off or save it in your favorites for future reference, so the next time you’re going through your statement and you want to know what a “Kilobyte Access Fee” is you have a place to find out.”
