The groundhog was wrong. Punxatawney Phil said we’d have six more weeks of winter. Maybe the creature was confused by the amount of snow that the east coast received this winter, but for us in North Central Wisconsin, it’s another story. After 4 bitterly cold days starting on the 1st of March, mother nature relented and we’ve seen a welcome trend of uncharacteristically warm weather. In fact we are expected to hit 60 degrees by the 12 of March. Since the snow is rapidly disappearing, it is only fitting that we embrace spring and say goodbye to winter. Looking back, here’s an assortment of images collected from the winter of 2015. Enjoy.
